What is Forever True Day?
Forever True Day is an Iowa State tradition going four years strong! From noon (CDT) on April 2 to noon on April 3, Cyclones across the globe will come together to support what they care about at Iowa State.
Whether empowering a favorite department or student organization, supporting student scholarships or faculty research, or investing in programs, innovation or another area of choice, a gift during Forever True Day shows loyalty to the university as it enriches the Iowa State experience.

Will I receive priority points for my gifts to Iowa State Athletics on Forever True Day?
Gifting to any Athletics Fund, including the Intercollegiate Athletics Fund, will be credited towards a donor’s all-time priority points in athletics. Contributions to the Intercollegiate Athletics Fund on Forever True Day are philanthropic and separate from Cyclone Club membership. Giving on Forever True Day does not qualify donors for priority seating or priority parking. How can I make a gift of stock, mutual funds or discuss my gifting options with someone?

Can I become a Forever True Day influencer?
Absolutely! Forever True Day influencers share their Cyclone Power with their networks during the online event. When influencers make a gift and encourage two others to do the same, they receive a custom Cyclone Power Bank as well! Sign up to be an influencer on Forever True Day!
Where is my donation going?
Your donation will be processed by the ISU Foundation and sent directly to the area you designated. A one-time administrative fee of 5% is applied to contributions to help cover the cost of fundraising and stewardship for Iowa State University.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
The minimum donation amount for online gifts is $5.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. You will receive a receipt for your donation from the ISU Foundation in January 2026.
When will my credit card be charged and is the site secure?
Your credit card will be charged immediately. This site uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers on our transaction pages. It encrypts all of your personal information including name, address and credit card number to prevent unauthorized access as the information travels over the Internet.
