- By connecting 290,329 Iowa State alumni living in all 50 U.S. states and more than 179 countries through events like the Cardinal and Gold Gala and ISU Homecoming, supporting first-generation student scholarships, career resources, the worldwide Traveling Cyclones Program, and more than 40 clubs and game watch locations across the United States.
- By engaging 38,500+ dues-paying members of the association through storytelling in the Iowa Stater, the ISU Alumni Association Online Directory, member pricing to events and activities, discounted Alumni Collection merchandise, ISU Alumni Center room rentals, and more.
- And by supporting more than 4,359 current ISU students through the Future Alumni Network – which provides opportunities to engage with fellow Cyclones on campus and network with alumni anywhere using career services – and through leadership opportunities in the Student Alumni Leadership Council.

Julie Larson Student Leadership Program Endowment
Julie Larson was an important member of the ISU Alumni Association staff for 34 years. She started out as an advisor to the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and left an imprint on the lives of many student leaders. Under Julie’s leadership, the SAA program quickly became a standout among student alumni programs nationally. Julie’s work in student affairs, as an alumni relations professional and a fundraiser, has helped grow the ISU Alumni Association and keeps Cyclone connections strong with all who have interacted with her and the Association. Your gift to this endowment shall be used to provide general support for the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC), including student activity expenses such as Homecoming, Ambassadors, Senior Class Council, retreats, and general administration for the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC).
Legacy Program Endowment
The Legacy Program Endowment connects future alumni through our Legacy Club program. As a member of the Legacy Club, your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew will receive age-appropriate gifts from the time of enrollment until age 18. Your gift to this endowment provides support for the Legacy Program by covering expenses for supplies, Cyclone legacy gifts, printing, and postage.
