Gifts to the Companion Animal Fund are used to improve patient facilities in the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital, purchase equipment for diagnosis and treatment, and enhance the efforts of the specialists who are constantly seeking better solutions to treat and prevent the diseases and ailments afflicting companion animals.
CVM Food Pantry Fund (Bone Appétit Food Pantry)
Funds will be used to purchase non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, baby items, and pet food and litter. The food pantry is for anyone in the ISU CVM community to use, with the motto of “Take what you need and use what you take.”
Frederick Douglass Patterson Opportunity Fund
Support the college’s efforts to create an educational experience that prepares our students to thrive in an increasingly diverse society and allow the college to strategically invest in scholarships and programs that help us create an inclusive learning community.
Vivian R. Flores Memorial Scholarship
The Vivian R. Flores Memorial Scholarship was created in remembrance of a beautiful person whose life was tragically taken too soon. The scholarship serves as an inspiration and provides encouragement through the hardest of life’s journeys. This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine, in celebration of Vivian’s life and legacy of lifting others up on their paths to excellence.
