Forever True Day 2024

Double your impact on biochemistry undergraduate research! The first $10,000 contributed to the BBMB Summer Undergraduate Research Program (BSRP) will be matched. The program supports students in the Roy J. Carver Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology (BBMB) to conduct full-time research over the summer while facilitating development of science-communication best practices, culminating in a fall research showcase.

The first $10,000 contributed to this fund will be matched by FarmHouse Fraternity brother, Tim Smith!

Help support the operations, priority programs, and initiatives of the Department of Horticulture. The first 50 donors to make a gift to the Horticulture General Fund Challenge will enter a drawing to be randomly selected for the opportunity to win a one-hour landscape design consultation with the Landscape Club, including a basic site overview, plant recommendations, and an elevation design sketch. The winner will be notified via email by May 1 and can join the consultation in person or virtually.

One Forever True Day donor who graduated from ISU between 2013 and 2023 will be selected to have an additional $250 contributed to their area of choice!

Join your Alpha Gamma Rho brothers as we work to build an endowed scholarship fund that will support future brothers in the house into perpetuity. 15 donors to this fund will unlock a $5,000 match, 25 donors will unlock an additional $5,000 match and once we reach 50 donors to the fund a final $5,000 match will be unlocked. Need more of a challenge? The Alpha Gamma Rho NI class with the most donors to this Forever True Day challenge will receive bragging rights!

A generous donor will match the first $4,000 to the Everett Clover Agricultural Education Student Success Fund. Everett Clover was a strong influence for hundreds of agricultural educators across the state of Iowa during his long and successful career. Having taught at both the secondary and post-secondary level, he became known for his passion for teaching the next generation of leaders in agriculture. This fund is designed to impact agricultural education students, the profession that Everett was so passionate about, and provide the support they need to help them become successful agricultural educators. The impact may be realized through emergency scholarships, completion grants, tutoring services, or educational activities that will benefit students.

Help the Insect Zoo reach its goal of providing four 1-hour school programs through your generous support for this fund. For every $250 raised the Insect Zoo will provide a 1-hour school program with mileage for free! Every donor who gives $25 or more will have their name entered into a drawing to be able to select a school the donation will be made to. Any single donation of $250 will allow a donor to select which school will receive the program.
