Reiman Gardens offers a landscape unlike any other in Iowa. It is home to an award-winning rose garden, nearly 40 individual gardens showcasing an array of biodiversity, a conservatory, a learning center and the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, featuring butterflies native to six continents. Reiman Gardens was recently named a "Top 10 Garden in North America Worth Traveling For in 2024."

The Reiman Gardens Fund for Excellence ensures that Reiman Gardens can consistently display the best plants, flowers, and butterflies for visitors of all ages to enjoy. It supports our mission to educate, enchant, and inspire an appreciation of plants, insects, and the beauty of the natural world. It also supports our vision to become a premier university garden.
Student interns are critical to the everyday success of Reiman Gardens as they assist the staff and volunteers in the areas of horticulture, entomology, educational programming, landscape design, communications, marketing, and much more!
